Booklist Editor's Choice

Booklist logoEach year the adult books editors at Booklist select the year’s outstanding books for public library collections. Books are chosen on the basis of their literary, intellectual, and aesthetic excellence and popular appeal. The list, along with the Notable Books List from the Reference and User Services Association, serves as the basis for the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction.
